NearlyParents Podcast Live Set to Bring Laughs and Real Talk to Dubai Opera This October

Get ready, Dubai — one of the UK’s most hilariously honest couples is headed your way.

Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, the dynamic duo behind the wildly popular NearlyParents podcast, are bringing their live show to Dubai Opera on 11 October, as part of the highly anticipated Dubai Comedy Festival 2025.

Their Middle East debut is more than just a comedy show — it’s a no-filter dive into the beautiful chaos of marriage, growing up, and now, parenthood.

From Reality TV to Real Life

Jamie and Sophie, who first met on Made in Chelsea, have taken fans on quite the journey — from awkward dates to wedding bells, and now baby scans. What began as NewlyWeds, a podcast documenting life after tying the knot, has evolved into NearlyParents after the couple announced they’re expecting their first child.

With a rebrand and a baby on the way, their live show promises the same unfiltered charm that fans know and love — but with even more heartfelt (and hilarious) new material.

Expect Laughter, Mayhem, and a Touch of Mayhem

Taking the stage at Dubai Opera, the couple will bring their trademark blend of wit, honesty, and chemistry, tackling everything from morning sickness to baby name drama — all with their signature flair. Think stand-up meets storytelling meets live podcast, packed with punchlines, playful roasting, and those “did-they-really-just-say-that” moments.

Presented by Live Nation Middle EastNearlyParents Podcast Live is for anyone who’s ever stumbled their way through adulthood — whether you’re married, single, or simply trying to keep your plants alive.

Part of a Festival Full of Comedy Heavyweights

Their show is one of many highlights in this year’s Dubai Comedy Festival, running from 2 to 12 October at major venues including Dubai Opera and the Coca-Cola Arena. Now in its fifth year, the festival is back with its biggest and boldest lineup yet — with international stars like Tom Segura, Zakir Khan, Joanne McNally, Omid Djalili, Akaash Singh, and more already confirmed.

Tickets for all shows, including NearlyParents Podcast Live, are now available via www.dubaicomedyfest.ae.

Don’t Miss It

Whether you’ve followed Jamie and Sophie from their reality TV days or just discovered them through their laugh-out-loud podcast, this is your chance to see them like never before — live, uncensored, and hilariously unfiltered in Dubai.
