These initiatives will deliver 3,004 new homes across various areas of Dubai, reinforcing the government’s commitment to citizen wellbeing and community development.
Housing for Stability and Growth
The ambitious housing program includes diverse projects to cater to the varied needs of Emirati families. Among the 3,004 homes planned, 1,181 will be constructed in Latifa City for beneficiaries under the housing loan scheme. The housing grant category will see additional homes being built in:

These projects align with the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, launched by Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the wife of Sheikh Mohammed. This initiative emphasizes family stability, community cohesion, and a balanced work-life environment, fostering stronger social values and enhanced living standards.
A Vision for Citizen Wellbeing
Highlighting the importance of these housing initiatives, Sheikh Mohammed stated, “Housing programs for citizens are a top priority. People are the cornerstone of our development journey and our success on the global stage.”
He further emphasized that citizen wellbeing remains the ultimate goal of all government initiatives, serving as a key metric for evaluating the effectiveness of development programs across sectors, including jobs, infrastructure, and services.
Integrated Urban Development
These housing projects form part of Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, which seeks to meet future housing demands through sustainable urban planning and efficient land use. The plan prioritizes integrated residential communities equipped with:
- Green spaces and recreational facilities
- Modern infrastructure and commercial centers
- Sustainable and high-quality living environments
According to His Excellency Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, the new projects reflect the leadership’s vision of creating exceptional residential environments. “Our goal is to provide Emirati citizens with homes that offer comfort, safety, and a sense of community, ensuring their needs are met over the next 20 years,” he said.
Shaping the Future
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed the government’s dedication to citizen-centric initiatives, ensuring that housing programs remain integral to the country’s broader strategy for prosperity and future readiness. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, these projects promise to transform the housing landscape in Dubai, meeting the aspirations of Emiratis for decades to come.
