Dubai Completes 104 Real Estate Projects Worth Over AED 111 Billion in H1 2026

Dubai’s real estate sector recorded another strong performance in the first half of 2026, with 104 real estate projects completed at a combined investment value of more than AED 111 billion, according to data from the Dubai Land Department (DLD).

The figures, reviewed by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, highlight the continued expansion of the emirate’s property market and growing confidence among investors and developers.

The number of completed projects increased by 38.7% compared with the same period in 2025, when 75 projects were completed with a total value of AED 73 billion. The overall investment value therefore recorded a significant 52% year-on-year increase.

More Than 24,500 New Units Added

The growth was also reflected in Dubai’s residential supply. A total of 24,537 new real estate units were delivered during the first six months of 2026, representing an increase of more than 36% compared with 18,043 units during the first half of 2025.

Meanwhile, the total built-up area of completed and ready-to-handover projects reached approximately 1.95 million square metres, up more than 23% from 1.58 million square metres a year earlier.

Land values also saw a sharp increase. The value of land allocated to completed projects rose by around 135% to approximately AED 19.46 billion, compared with AED 8.27 billion in H1 2025. The land area covered by completed projects also more than doubled to around one million square metres.

Strong Investor Confidence

Sheikh Hamdan said the strong performance reflects the resilience of Dubai’s real estate sector and renewed confidence from the global business community in the emirate’s economic environment.

Dubai’s advanced infrastructure, investment-friendly legislation and diversified economy continue to attract capital from both regional and international investors. The latest figures also support the emirate’s wider economic ambitions under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy by 2033 and strengthen its position among the world’s leading cities.

With project completions, residential supply and investment values all recording significant growth, Dubai’s real estate sector continues to play a central role in the emirate’s economic expansion and long-term development.
