Dubai is set to make a monumental leap in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and integration with the announcement of the inaugural ‘Dubai AI Week’, to be held from April 21-25, 2025. This landmark event was unveiled by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).
With a focus on fostering global collaboration, the event aims to unite over 1,000 global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. It will feature a variety of conferences, initiatives, and exhibitions designed to explore AI advancements, address challenges, and establish Dubai as a leading AI hub.

In his announcement, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai’s dedication to shaping the future of AI under the leadership of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. 2. Dubai Assembly for Generative AI
This assembly at AREA 2071 will host 1,800 participants, including ministers, CEOs, and experts, with 25 main sessions and 12 immersive experiences showcasing advancements by global tech companies.
3. Global Prompt Engineering Championship
With over 2,000 applications, 40 finalists will compete for a prize pool of AED 1 million across four categories, highlighting the growing importance of prompt engineering in AI development.
4. Dubai AI Festival
A vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, this festival will attract 5,000 business leaders, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors from 100 countries, showcasing groundbreaking AI projects and forming global partnerships.
5. Machines Can See Summit
Debuting during Dubai AI Week, this summit will focus on machine vision technologies, drawing 5,000 visitors, 850 participants, and 40 global experts to explore cutting-edge innovations in the field.
6. Educational Initiatives
In collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), a week-long program will introduce AI concepts and future applications to students across Dubai’s schools, ensuring the next generation is AI-ready.
