- Dubai Government: The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has issued a circular stating that all government entities in Dubai will pause operations from Shawwal 1 to Shawwal 3, resuming on Shawwal 4.

In a pioneering move, the UAE Council for Fatwa deployed AI-powered drones for the second consecutive year to confirm the moon sighting.
