One of the world’s most celebrated musicians, A.R. Rahman, is set to light up Abu Dhabi in early 2026. The Academy and Grammy Award-winning composer will take the stage at the Etihad Arena on Friday, January 23, 2026, as part of his highly anticipated Wonderment Tour.
Often referred to as the Mozart of Madras, Rahman has scored music for over 150 films across Bollywood and Hollywood, shaping the soundtracks of generations. His Abu Dhabi performance will feature a specially curated setlist of his greatest hits, including Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire), Chaiyya Chaiyya (Dil Se…) and Tere Bina (Guru).
Renowned for blending soaring vocals with mesmerizing instrumentation and cutting-edge stage production, Rahman’s shows are more than concerts – they are immersive musical experiences.

Rahman’s work has been honoured globally, most notably for Slumdog Millionaire, which earned him two Oscars, two Grammys, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA. In India, he holds the Padma Bhushan and multiple National Film Awards, cementing his legendary status.
The upcoming concert is expected to welcome between 12,000 and 14,000 fans, from South Asian audiences to international music lovers.
